Winston's speech and what I think of it

Winston was right on saying that "The chief end of all societies is the betterment of mankind through mutual kindness." I believe he is saying that it is better if we don't have boundaries but for all the country's to make peace for the better of mankind.

I am a lot of things I have blood from a bunch of different countries. I am mostly Scotch-Irish from my mom and dads side. I am Cherokee Indian on my moms side. Also I'm French on my dads side. That is my heritage.

5 of my Pet Peeves

I have 5 pet peeves that i am going to tell u about. The first thing I am annoyed by is the  sound of a cicada it ticks me off. The second thing is that I am annoyed by a constant sound. The third thing is when someone is just doing something to annoy me. The forth thing is the sound of screeching. The last is when something is just doing something to make me uncomfortable. A lot of these things are sounds that are loud and constantly going. So that is my blog thank you for reading.

The Government in the American Revolution

I believe that it is better to have in person charge better than a group because the group would argue all the time about the laws. It is also bad to have one person in charge because the laws would be what he wants that is why there is congress and a president.

Veteran's Day

Veterans Day is the American holiday that we honor the people that fought for our freedom in war. Veterans Day is on November 11. This day is also celebrated as Armistice Day or Remembrance Day in other parts of the world. The resson it is on November 11 is that it is the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I.

Veterans Day was passed a concurrent resolution on June 4, 1926 requesting that the Presdent issue another Proclamation to observe November 11 with appropriate ceremonies.



My Application and Why

The application I chose was The American Revolution. I chose this because it seems like it is very important in history and is the most recent thing i have learned. I thought it was a good thing for us to chose our own because it gives the students a chance to do something they are good at. Being able to write about anything we wanted to in history.

American Revolution

The American Revolution was the Revolutionary war and what caused the war. The American Revolution was started because the colonies were being taxed and they couldn't move west of the Appalachian Mountains because the French and Indian war. Most people believe that Massachusetts was the first state to rebel against England. The Boston Massacre and the Boston tea party were to things that lead up to the intolerable act. The Intolerable Act made the Boston Harbor close down and for Massachusetts to have more taxes. Then the 2 Continental Congress was formed to pass choices for the colonies.
